Provide direct oversight, training, and monitoring of staff, delivery of care services, and regulatory compliance.
Responsible for operating within the approved budget and meeting or exceeding established outcomes.
Foster a strong, cohesive team environment that builds confidence and strong morale among the staff and staff retention.
Work with partner providers to create a pro-active and collaborative relationship.
Build trust with residents and their families through good communication and follow-through.
Train, motivate, and develop staff to perform at their highest levels.
Create a warm, supportive, and safe environment for residents living with memory loss.
Be prepared to train staff in the language of memory loss, creative interventions, and facilitating meaningful activity programs.
Lead the marketing and positioning of the community through personal involvement with professional networking and program development.
Clearly communicate the image and brand of the community.
Experience in Long Term Care or Assisted Living preferred.
Experience in healthcare management preferred.
Knowledge of CBRF and RCAC regulations is preferred.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management situations.
