What will you get to do as a Hospice CNA at St. Paul Elder Services?

  • Provide warm, compassionate personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship to hospice patients and their families.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility, all while preserving dignity and comfort.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, mood, and care needs to the nursing team.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and the Clinical Care Team to ensure individualized comfort care is delivered in accordance with the patient’s hospice care plan.
  • Support families with understanding, empathy, and reassurance throughout the hospice journey.

  • You have a positive attitude and a heart for caring for people in their most vulnerable moments.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in hospice, assisted living, home health, or long-term care settings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional under pressure.
